Due to the suburban nature of SCU and the overwhelming amount of infrastructure and information in public transportation, many students prefer personal vehicles and rideshare apps to get around the San Jose/Santa Clara area. This is not sustainable for a variety of reasons. First, parking spaces are dwindling due to campus expansion.
